Craft. Create. Connect with Nature.
Join us for an immersive four-session workshop with Lycoming Arts in partnership with Rider Park, where you'll shape, sculpt, and personalize a handmade clay birdhouse—a perfect blend of art and function! This workshop is part of the Artist in Residency program made possible from a grant from the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts. 🌿🐦
📅 Workshop Dates: July 8, 10, 15, 17 6-8PM (must attend all sessions)
📍 Location: Rider Park
💰 Cost: $104 per person (limited to 20 participants)
🔹 No prior experience needed—just bring your creativity!
🔹 Workshop will be conducted by local clay artist, Kathy Sterngold
🔹 The Audubon Society will be giving talks about birds and habitat

Summer Firefly Experience 2025
at Robert Porter Allen Natural Area
Join us Thursday, JULY 10th, 2025 at 8:20pm to experience fireflies at Robert Porter Allen Natural Area in South Williamsport in this 4th Annual Firefly Event! The evening begins with a showing of Diana Lehr's short film A Midsummer Nocturne that captures the remarkable, ephemeral and intricate world of fireflies. Afterwards, join guided tours of the Natural Area and learn about fireflies from firefly expert Sarah Lower, a Biology Professor from Bucknell University, and her students.
Lycoming Arts will provide Arts2Go! firefly kids crafts creating a paper lantern at this event.
This special opportunity to connect with art, nature and science outside the walls of a museum, will celebrate the temporal lifespan of these winged, bioluminescent insects, whose numbers are rapidly dwindling.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's Environmental Education Grants Program has provided financial and other support for this event.
This Summer, join Lycoming Arts at the Robert Porter Allen Natural Area for an immersive Firefly Experience. Combining art, science, and nature, the event is a collaborative effort between Lycoming Arts, Bucknell University and the team behind the natural area project.
The event will be held at the entrance of the natural area, located at the natural area at 1724 Sylvan Dell Rd, Armstrong Township, PA 17702.

Susquehanna Film Festival
33 Local, National and International films!
September 19th to 21st, 2025
We are screening 33 local, national and international films over three days. The festival will showcase a multi-genre selection of feature, short, documentary and animated films, with a special emphasis on works produced in Pennsylvania. As an added bonus that's sure to please film fans, many of the SFF’s screening selections are yet-to-be released films, making their exclusive North American premiere, which means they have never been seen in movie theaters or streamed on U.S. platforms. Storytellers Book Fair 2026 - 8 Foot Vendor Table
This is for an eight foot table for vendors and authors for the Storytellers Book Fair at Pennington Lounge on the campus of Lycoming College, Williamsport PA, which includes one 8 foot table with two chairs. Vendors must bring tablecloths. Please indicate if electricity is needed.
NOTE: Children are not allowed to attend or work booths. A book fair event for adults! It's an evening of fun with friends, books, food and wine. A chance for people to get out and have fun and see your wares!
