Synopsis: The year is 1826. Somewhere near Youngstown, New York, two green Freemasons, Alden and Linus, are tasked with executing a prisoner in order to prove their loyalty to their Masonic Lodge. The prisoner, an ex-Freemason and now outspoken anti-Freemason, was kidnapped one week prior by the Masonic Lodge for writing a book exposing the hypocrisy of their secret society. If Alden and Linus succeed in their orders, they will be promoted from ‘Apprentice’ to ‘Fellow Craft’ which Alden so desperately desires.
