Synopsis: Parked alone in the desert, Daniel hides his phone and slips a ring into his pocket, trying to quiet the noise in his head. Not long ago, he followed Liina to her family's island in Finland, believing that distance and time together could mend what he had broken. But the secret he carried began to surface in small ways. Pauses, missed looks, a cottage that no longer felt safe. Liina started keeping track. What begins as a bid to start a life together becomes a slow unraveling, as Liina traces the shape of something Daniel refuses to name. The past closes in on the shoreline. The present calls from a life not yet lived. And Daniel must reckon with consequence while Liina confronts the truth: that her sanctuary, once a safe place, has already been broken. Told through fragments of memory and the quiet pull of the past.
